Mr. Abdulla Saeed Bin Majid Belyoahah

Board Member

Mr. Abdulla Saeed Bin Majid Belyoahah has been a Board Member of National Bonds Corporation since December 2010 and was appointed to its Audit Committee in April 2011. He is also a Board Member of the Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation since August 2019 and has served on the Board of Trustees for the Hamdan Bin Rashed Foundation since November 2022.

He previously served as a Board Member of Emaar Malls Group from September 2014 to November 2021 and as a Non-Executive Director of Emaar Properties PJSC from April 2012 to April 2021.

Mr. Abdulla began his professional career with Istithmar, working in the consumer products and real estate departments, where he contributed to key acquisitions, strategic divestments, and the evaluation of global real estate investment opportunities.

He has served as the Senior Financial Consultant at the Department of Finance, Government of Dubai until 2024. Prior to this, he served as the Director of the Public Debt Management Division of the Department of Finance, overseeing the consolidation of Dubai’s sovereign debt and investor relations operation.

He has played a key role in several major financing initiatives for the Government of Dubai, including the US$1.93 billion Sukuk in 2009, the US$1.25 billion bond in 2012, the US$500 million 30-year bond (the first ever 30-year conventional bond in 2013) and a 10-year Sukuk with a benchmark size of US$750 million.

He also contributed to the successful restructuring of Dubai World and Nakheel and was part of the team that helped the Department of Finance, led by its Director General that time, win its first Dubai Government Excellence Award.
